Upcoming Community Events
This year's theme, "The VI 5," celebrates five of Vancouver Island's most common rocks and minerals. With over 35 vendors, kids' activities, flintknapping demonstrations, door prizes, a silent auction and plenty of rocks, minerals and handmade treasures, there's something for everyone. Food and refreshments will be available on-site. Bring some cash, as there are no ATMs and not all vendors accept debit. A great opportunity to support a fellow BCLS club and maybe add a few more rocks to your collection!
We're happy to help spread the word about another club that calls The HUB at Cowichan Station home! The Clay Hub Collective is hosting its 11th Annual Pottery Sale on Saturday, November 14, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Stop by to browse beautiful handmade pottery from local artists, find some unique Christmas gifts and support our fellow makers. We will have a table there too, so be sure to stop by and say hello! Find us all at 2375 Koksilah Road, Cowichan Station. A great opportunity to see what our little creative community has been up to!
Our 2026 Memories
Volunteers host a Rockhounds table featuring local rock displays, member-made items, tumbled stone blind bags, and the popular “Spin to Win” game. Members are available to chat, answer questions, and welcome new rockhounds.
